Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiology

You will contribute significantly to expand our service in adult cardiology including coronary intervention, IVUS, FFR, rotablation, IABP, and electrophysiology studies and ablation with all PM-, ICD-, and CRT-D-procedures. We allready provide adult cardiology for further 5+ cooperating hospitals (Hospital of Emden, Aurich, Norden, Norderney, and Borromaeushospital of Leer). A busy STEMI program is in operation since 2004 with 24/7 coverage all year round in two dedicated cath labs one of which has allready been upgraded for hybrid procedures. 

You will be joining a highly regarded clinical team of colleagues, who are encouraged to conduct research (i.e. FITT-STEMI project with STEMI networking) and who are passionate about teaching and passing their knowledge to our junior staff. You will be eligible for a deputy leading position at the department. You must hold the qualification as ‘Facharzt für Kardiologie’ (or equivalent), be eligible for vocational registration with the NiZzA, and be fluent in written and spoken German.
