Sacred Heart Cardiac Centre operates at Windhoek (Roman Catholic Private Hospital) and at WalvisBay (Welvitschia Private Hospital). Each hospital has Biplane Siemens Cathlab. We perform approximately 1600 procedures a year (angiography, PCI, pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs). TAVI programme to be introduced in 2025. Approximately 100 open heart surgeries are performed annually. Cardiac CT and MRI services are available in both private hospitals

1 Interventional Cardiologist (Dr Simon Idris Beshir) and 3 cardiac surgeons (Dr Du Toit, Dr Nghaamwa, Dr Mureko) are providing a comprehensive Cardiac Service.
