The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia’s largest health system and the state’s largest employer. The System has undergone significant expansion in specialty and sub-specialty care in areas such as cancer, heart and vascular, and neuroscience, among many others. The Health System operates West Virginia’s first and only multi-organ transplant center.

Today, the WVU Health System has more than 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees.
